Orlando Class

Our literacy work this half-term will be based around the book Unspoken and the poem Nightmail by W.H. Auden.  In maths we will be working on written methods for multiplication and division.

In science our big question is ‘Have we always looked like this?’ During this topic we will explore how living things have changed over time. We will also learn how living things produce offspring of the same kind but that normally offspring vary and are not identical to their parents.

In humanities our big question is ‘Were the Vikings always victorious and vicious?’  During this topic we will learn about why the Vikings came to Britain and what life was like in Viking Britain. We will make connections with migration in other periods of history we have studied.

We will also be doing activities for anti-bullying week.
