Y5/6 Girls’ Football Team 12:40 - 13:10 Y5/6 Girls’ Football Team Open to all girls in years 5 and 6. Training will take place every Thursday Training will take place on the school field with Chola, an outside sports coach from Sporty Stars. The girls will need to get changed into appropriate clothing and will need boots/trainers, shin pads, a waterproof jacket and a water bottle. I am hoping to arrange matches and tournaments throughout the year with other schools. In the past, the training sessions have proven to be very popular with a large number of boys attending, therefore if your child wants to take part in matches and tournaments they will need to be attending the training sessions regularly and consistently. Netball - Year 5/6 ** starting on 2nd March 2023 ** 15:20 - 16:20 Netball training is on a Thursday from 3.20pm to 4.20pm* *** restarting on Thursday 2nd March 2023 *** Chldren to get changed in their classrooms before joining Netball. ** Please ensure you child has a healthy snack (nut free) and drink with them. Children to be collected from the Netball court by Y5/6 classrooms. There is currently no charge for this class. Note: numbers will be limited from now on due to the large uptake last term, however there will be an official waiting list that will be reviewed on a weekly basis following pupils commitment to the team. Due to safeguarding, if you are not available to train on a specific Thursday an email must be sent to Mrs Horgan prior to that day. KS1 Choir - Years 1, 2 and 3 *Starting on Friday 10th March* 12:30 - 13:00 KS1 Choir - Years 1, 2 and 3 KS1 Choir will take place each week, on a Friday lunchtime between 12:30 -13.00 and will be held in Reception, Taj Mahal Classroom. Choir children will be allowed into lunch earlier than their normal slot to allow them time to eat their lunch first. We know that the children love to sing and there will be lots of ways for the choir to perform both inside and outside of school. This will be organised through concerts, assemblies and community events. Places will be offered to children who attend the choir regularly each week and will be limited. If the choir becomes full we will operate a waiting list. Permission available from main reception and return it to school for the attention of Miss Turner.
