Year 5 Shipwrecked!

Year 5 were shipwrecked on the field this morning as part of their learning in literacy. The children were using team work, imagination and their engineering skills to craft a shelter from cardboard, black sacks, netting, sheeting and rope.  This is to help them understand how the main character of their book (Kensuke’s Kingdom) felt when he fell overboard and washed up onto a deserted island…..or so he thought
