Dear parents and carers,

I am looking forward to welcoming you all this afternoon at 3.30pm—5.30pm to the Christmas Fair. This always proves to be a really wonderful event and is such a wonderful way to start to share the Christmas festivities. Children should be collected today at 3.15pm and then we would ask that parents/carers and children wait outside for 10-15 minutes while teachers ensure that everything is ready. The raffle will be called at around 5pm. I look forward to seeing you all there!

We had a surprise visit from Father Christmas on Wednesday. My thanks goes to the Friends of BHPS for all their work and arranging for Santa to visit our amazing children.  On Thursday Mr Devlin and Mrs Windover had the pleasure of taking the BHPS Choir to sing at the Glades, Bromley in support of Mencap. This is an important engagement for our school as it supports the wider work of an amazing charity which supports thousands of people with learning disabilities and their families and carers.  Mr Devlin and Mrs Windover were very proud of the children’s singing and exceptional behaviour.  I also have the pleasure of accompanying Year 3 and 6 to the Christmas Singalong at St Mark’s Church this afternoon—I always enjoy this festive occasion and look forward to seeing Year 3 and 6 parents/carers at St Mark’s Church.

On Monday 16th December the children will be watching a pantomime in school time. We would like to thank the Friends of BHPS for funding this exciting event for our children. Next week I am looking forward to welcoming you to our Nursery and Reception Christmas Singalong, Year 1 and 2 Nativity and Year 4 and 5 Christmas Show.  To mark the end of term,  each class will have a class afternoon party on Thursday 19th December. Dismissal arrangements will be as normal for the last day of term.

Have a lovely weekend.
