Reception 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'

This week we had a special delivery of caterpillars. We are observing the changes that are happening. Some of our caterpillars have grown quite big already! We read the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar', which we all enjoyed - this helped us see the life cycle of the caterpillar. We are very excited for our caterpillars to move onto the next stage of the cycle which is a cocoon! We have also had a go at many independent tasks including creating a caterpillar out of playdough and beads.
