Last week we were able to enjoy our first Reading Cafe Reward. This was postponed from the Autumn term, due to the school closures, so it was great to be able to finally do this. Children enjoyed the rewards that they had chosen with their classes at the start of the Autumn Term.
The summer term reward will take place on the 9th July so children have plenty of time to collect their points. Points will be awarded each week when children return their reading records and will be added to the class total.
Children will earn 1 point for returning their reading record; 2 points if they have read at least 3 times; 3 points if they have read more than 3 times; plus bonus points for completing extra reading activities such as book reviews.
