Dear Parents/Carers,
The festive season has brought a wonderful sense of celebration across the school. From joyful performances and seasonal activities to shared moments of laughter, Christmas festivities have created lasting memories for children and staff alike. A big thank you to our staff team who have made this possible.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Friends of BHPS for their incredible contributions this term. Their hard work and generosity have supported a range of much-loved events, including the school discos, the Pumpkin Trail, the Christmas Fair, and a very special visit from the Man in Red. These events have brought great enjoyment to the children and strengthened the sense of community across the school. Thanks to these efforts, the Friends of BHPS have raised £2,161.13 for the Christmas Fair alone! This fantastic achievement will continue to support enriching opportunities and resources for the school.
Those interested in becoming part of the Friends of BHPS are warmly encouraged to enquire at the school office. New faces and fresh ideas are always welcome.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Kovacs-Periera who is moving on to her new school from January. Ms Kovacs has been an integral part of the staff team at BHPS and we wish her well in her new school.
Today Mrs Sanford starts maternity leave with Baby Sanford arriving in the New Year. Good luck to Mrs Sanford and her family and we look forward to receiving the joyful news of Baby Sanford’s safe arrival!
Best wishes to all families for a peaceful and happy Christmas break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the New Year on Wednesday 7th January.
Mrs Lawrence
Headteacher and Safeguarding Lead
