It has been quite a relief to settle back down to normality after all the excitement of Enterprise Week! Thank you for your support of this event.
We were very proud to present our latest batch of Ambassador Awards this morning—congratulations to anyone who achieved an award this time round.
We have introduced a new idea to raise the profile of Modern Foreign Languages across the school—Language Lundi! Each week (we will leave it to you to work out which day!) we will introduce a new language and the children will be taught to say ‘Good Morning’ in this language. We are choosing languages that are spoken within our school community to start with and so far have done French and Polish and next week we will be doing Turkish; hopefully your child will be able to teach you too! - I am certainly learning a lot!
Don’t forget to book your parent conference slot via Arbor, please remember that it is an expectation that someone from every family attends and so if times/dates are inconvenient, please be sure to reschedule an appointment time.
