Dear Parents and Carers,

We have been busy once again this week and the children have been working hard across the school. Walking in and out of assembly in the “Biggin Hill Way” has been particularly impressive.

We are very excited as work has started on the new playground markings which are being funded by The Friends. Though poor weather has delayed this slightly, we are hopeful that this should be complete by some point next week.

Can I remind families that at breaktime the only snacks that children should be having are fruits and vegetables and preferably nothing in a plastic packet (to help reduce litter). If children take other snacks onto the playground they will be asked to put these back in their bags until hometime. There must be no nuts brought into school - please be mindful of this if giving your children dried fruit mixes.

The Parent Forum reps will be in touch with classes to feedback from the meeting that we had last week.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Mrs Freeman

Headteacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead
