Dear Parents and Carers,
I must start this week by congratulating our Year 6 pupils who have filled me with absolute pride. Today we hosted our first open day for potential new families of the 26/27 Reception cohort. The children were polite, kind and confident and the feedback from the families was exceptional. Thank you and well done to Year 6 for representing the school so brilliantly! Our second open morning is on Thursday 13th November at 9.30am. Please spread the word!
Practice for the swimming gala has started this week - a big thank you to Mrs Horgan for organising the event and for dedicating her time to practice with the children.
Another thank you must go to Mr Jarred who has organised sponsorship for our Y5/6 boy’s football team, who were in desperate need of a new kit. Thank you very much!
The return to school after the half term break has been great - the children have returned with renewed enthusiasm and energy for their learning and the learning environment is purposeful and calm. Well done to everyone for returning so well.
Miss Knott will not be in school until Monday 17th November at the earliest as she has been summoned for Jury Service. Please direct any queries to the office or your child’s class teacher until this date. Please be aware that we may not be able to action your queries or requests until Miss Knott’s return.
