Dear Parents and Carers,
As this half term draws to a close, I want to share my thanks to the families of Biggin Hill as well as our fantastic staff team.
Well done to our Year 6 children and the staff team for their fantastic efforts during their mock SATs week. The children approached this time with maturity and dedication - it is great to see their efforts paying off as their results have improved so much! The children should be incredibly proud of themselves.
Thanks goes to Mrs Carere and her team for organising such a lovely Science day (more information in last week’s Spotlight On). Feedback from both parents and children show that the day was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Thank you to the Friends of BHPS who contributed towards the funding of the workshop.
Families who attended Parent Consultations have shared some very positive messages - these have been gratefully received by class teachers and I thank you for taking the time to send in your emails of thanks and recognition.
Finally, my thanks go to the Parent Representatives for each class. A very productive and positive Parent Forum was held on Thursday 5th February. Information from the Parent Forum will be shared with all parents over the half term.
