At the end of June we launched a ‘Perfect Parking’ poster campaign of our very own! This campaign was launched with a short focus session in each year group around the subject matter of road safety and the Green Cross Code, we also used this as an opportunity to promote good road safety practice. Children enjoyed a virtual assembly about the importance of road safety delivered by Miss Wigfield, Personal, Social and Health Education Lead, and participated in some small class activities. As part of this campaign, we launched a ‘Perfect Parking’ poster competition for children from Reception to Year 6 to do at home. On 2nd July children took home a competition entry form with all the details. The task was to design a poster to promote a clear message of the need for ‘Perfect Parking’. The more creative the better! Posters were judged on content, information and creativity. All our ‘Perfect Parking’ competition entries were amazing. It was a hugely difficult task to select the winners as all the entries were brilliant! We have a display of some of the wonderful posters in school.
