Notice Board
Year 6 homework is due in on Wednesdays.
Our literacy work this half-term will be based around playscripts. We will look at features of playscripts, do some acting then study WIlliam Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
In maths we will be working on geometry, coordinates, statistics as well as revising fractions, decimals and percentages and the four operations.
In science our big question is ‘Could you be the next Nintendo apprentice?’ During this topic we will be learning about electricity. We will learn how to create different electrical circuits and represent these using scientific symbols. We will learn how voltage can change the brightness of a bulb or volume of a buzzer and learn how to integrate switches into our circuits.
We will also be doing activities for World Book Day and Science Week.
