Robert Rauschenberg Class

Our literacy work this half-term will be based around The Lost Thing.  We will use modal verbs and concentrate on how to build cohesion within a paragraph. We will write letters, create adverts and plan and write a narrative.

In maths we will use formal written methods to multiply and divide. We will use these skills to solve problems and explain our reasoning. We will continue to practise and use our times tables knowledge, focusing particularly on the 8 times table.

In science our big question is ‘Could you be the next CSI investigator?’ We will learn about different materials and reversible and irreversible changes.

In humanities our big question is ‘Why should gunpowder, treason and plot never be forgotten?’.  We will learn about the English Civil War, The Great Fire of London and Samuel Pepys.

In RE we will learn about the similarities and differences between the Church of England and the Catholic Church.
