Biggin Hill School, Bromley

Robert Rauschenberg Class

Our literacy work this half-term will be based around Can We Save The Tiger.  We will concentrate on using a variety of sentence structures and being consistent with our subject/verb agreements.

In maths we will learn to multiply 2-digit numbers using long multiplication, multiply proper fractions with mixed numbers and identify, name and write equivalent fractions. We will continue to practise our rapid recall of all the multiplication and division facts up to 12x12.

In science our big question is ‘How different will you be when you are as old as your grandparents?’. We will learn about the lifecycles of humans and think about how we can stay fit and healthy.

In humanities our big question is ‘How could Hitler have convinced a nation like Germany to follow him?’.  We will learn how Hitler came to power and why World War Two started. We will learn about the Battle of Britain and Winston Churchill.
