To celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming nuptials we have decided to have a special dress up day next Friday 19th May.Children are invited to wear their own red, white and blue clothes next Friday—please feel free to add your own creative/novelty “Royal” flourishes!
We will also be having a whole school Royal Garden Party Lunch—this will obviously be outside, weather permitting and if not then children will have class picnics instead! We will be offering a very special Royal Garden Party Packed Lunch from the school kitchen. If you would like a Royal Garden Party Lunch please let your child’s class teacher know by no later than Tuesday, alternatively please send your child into school with a packed lunch on this day—remember absolutely NO NUTS please (this includes all Nutella products).
Please note that Y3 have their special Greek day on Friday—unfortunately this clash could not have been foreseen or avoided. They will of course be part of the picnic and are welcome to bring in a royal hat/accessory for times when they are not involved in their special Greek Day activities.
